Wow, it’s already four years ago, that we published our very first Elmastudio blog post. Back then we never would have thought what an incredible journey would come out of this, just by being entirely ourselves for the first time and finding our own path without hiding or trying to be someone else.
The Freelance Roller Coaster
Luckily we just found out after a while, what it really means to be a freelance web designer / developer and maintain a blog at the same time. And if we would have known from the beginning, what effort, passion and will power it takes to stick to your dreams no matter what, I probably wouldn’t be sitting here writing this post right now.
A Few Birthday Numbers
Today we can proudly say that we published 547 blog posts and moderated over 25 000 comments on Elmastudio in the last four years. We also released 2 free themes and 12 Premium WordPress themes (theme no. 13 and 14 are in the making…) and created our theme forum and a small Freelancer Network.
Since we are more than happy to still be able to work on our Elmastudio and live our dream every day, we want to celebrate and also take the time to say THANK YOU.
Thanks to all our devoted readers, theme users and Elmastudio supporters, who came along for the ride, motivated us and provided helpful feedback to our work. Without you we wouldn’t be here today. Thanks for everthing, you guys rock!
30% Discount On All Products
As a little thank you, we setup a 30% promotion discount for all our single themes and the Theme Bundle. The discount will apply automatically in the shopping cart, so you don’t need an extra coupon code. The sale will be valid until Saturday July 13th, 12 a.m. (CET). If you have any questions regarding the discount, please write me a short note via the contact form.
A glimpse into the future
Right now we are eagerly working on two new theme releases and a couple of theme updates. Besides that we are also going to publish some first guest posts on Elmastudio soon and personally we are already pretty excited about a long-dreamed about travel to Japan that we will start in September (of course we will keep you up-to-date and support our products from on the road, too). And for the second half of 2013 we are working on a little further surprise, but more about the that in an other update.
For sure is that we are looking forward to many more years with Elmastudio and we hope that you will come along with us and continue to have lots of fun with our blog posts and WordPress themes.
Yours Ellen & Manuel
